The New York State Association for Solid Waste Management (NYSASWM) is
an active group of solid waste professionals representing municipal solid waste
managers.
Currently, the President of the NYSASWM is Mr. F. Joseph Stockbridge from
the Town of Colonie, NY. Serving as Vice President is Mr. Michael Wolack,
from theOneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority . In addition, the Board of
Directors is composed of eight representatives, two At-Large Directors, as
well as a Secretary and a Treasurer.
The association is strictly volunteer and organized as a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit
organization pursuant to the Internal Revenue code. The NYSASWM addresses
issues that affect solid waste management in the State of New York as well as
issues at the federal level. Board meetings are held quarterly and current
topics of concern are discussed. NYSASWM welcomes new members and
